Astral FM 으로부터 앰비언트 믹스셑 을 의뢰받아 7월 5일부터 한 달간 만든 믹스테잎입니다.
처음에는 좋아하는 음악들에 자작곡 한두 곡을 넣은 dj set을 생각했는데 하다 보니 앨범 분량의 곡들이 만들어지고, 결국엔 전부 자작곡으로만 채워진 mixtape 이 되었어요.
작업할 때 그날 그날 만든 곡들 모니터링 하다가 짧은 잠이 들기도 하고, 곡들이 늘어날수록 더 깊은 잠에 빠지고… 그렇게 계속 만들고 듣다가 불면증도 자연스럽게 치료된 거 같아요. 늦여름 깊은 잠을 위한 플레이리스트에 꼭 추가해 보세요.



This is an Ambient mixtape for Astral FM and it contains all original new music.
I was gonna make a dj mixset of ambient music of my faves as they asked but since the company lent me a new synth for this, I would experiment with it and started recording live. But as it’s a new machine, I would often make mistakes and do it all over and over again and find out new functions during the session. Then they became songs and ended up with this 47-minute-long mixtape.
I solely used the synth except a few overdubs. Began recording in hot summer, then monsoon and typhoon hit here respectively. But only these dreamy hypnotic tunes will be remembered well for the season to me. Summer is still here though, it seems like it ended when the tape work’s done. The summer ends here...
